The Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec, which is the largest professional federation specializing in tourism in Canada, and the Conseil québécois des ressources humaines du Tourisme have selected sept24 to conduct a campaign to promote the professions and trades in the industry. The mandate is adapted and designed to follow the evolution of the aspirations of the workers as well as the evolution of the needs of the employers. The selection was made following a call for tenders over the past few months.
The large-scale project includes efforts to promote and increase recognition of tourism occupations, to recruit for different positions in various sectors of the industry, and to position itself as an employer of choice on the current and future labour market.
The objective of this collaboration with sept24 is clear: to serve as a motivation engine for candidates and current employees to make Quebec a world-renowned tourist destination.

For 25 years, the CQRHT has worked in collaboration with partners in the tourism industry, namely tourism associations, unions, and businesses. Its mission is to ensure watchful monitoring of the evolution of the tourism workforce and to promote consultation between all partners in order to reach consensuses that will make it possible to take joint and structuring actions to address the HR challenges of the tourism industry. The CQHRT is the sectoral labour committee for the tourism industry.
