Our mandate
To evolve Radio-Canada’s internal culture to make it more open and inclusive.
It was essential to define what constitutes the core of the organization’s overall culture (employee value proposition) and the current state of how diversity and inclusion are experienced within the organization (diversity value proposition).
Our methodology
The research phase includes (among other things):
- Analysis of previous research conducted at Radio-Canada, including surveys and working groups.
- Launch of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and Diversity and Inclusion (DVP) survey completed by 1,383 Radio-Canada employees.
- Employee and senior management focus groups.
- Presentation of the EVP and EVD research report, along with recommendations, to senior management and presentation to all Radio-Canada employees.
CREATION
***The creation stage was produced by Radio-Canada and its collaborators.
Here is the message from Catherine Armagnac, internal communications advisor at Radio-Canada, for the launch of the ‘Devenir’ project. This message was addressed to the employees of the public broadcaster.
”At Radio-Canada, whatever our job, role or status, what unites us is our pride in working for the public broadcaster and serving Canadians. You’ve heard it said before — we have Radio-Canada tattooed on our hearts!
In recent years, results from the L’ADN des Radio-Canadiens survey prompted hundreds to get involved in the Devenir project. Each in their own way, they’re helping change our workplace culture and turn Radio-Canada into a place where everyone can grow and thrive, not just professionally but also interpersonally. To underscore this engagement, we’ve invited some of them to feature in a branding campaign that will be rolled out in our stations across the country.
These employees put a face to Radio-Canada’s values, reflecting the project’s transformative emphasis (devenir, to become). Together, they invite you to join the movement to turn Radio-Canada into a workplace where everyone has the chance to grow, change and develop, no matter who you are or what you do. Ready to get on board?”
